Ashley Long, Ph.D. (UCLA) works with QIC-WD on data analysis and visualizations to help provide needed tools for making timely and informed decisions. She is an Evaluation Associate in the Agile Visual Analytic Lab (AVAL) at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs where she works with human service systems and providers on evaluation, quality, and understanding and visualizing the impact of their work. Prior to coming to UCLA, she consulted with public and private entities around strategy and implementation, research, data, and evaluation. Her previous work includes serving as the Director of the Illinois Birth-to-Third Grade (B-3) Continuity project were she worked with the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Education to develop and implement alignment supports with school districts across the state of Illinois. As well as, working with multiple United Ways focused on developing strategies that achieved measurable and lasting change in community conditions, mobilizing necessary resources, and producing positive results to improve lives.
