Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians: New Employee Onboarding Process

This short presentation explains the importance of an onboarding process for new employees in a child welfare agency. The presenter provides a brief overview of what we know about the connection between onboarding and worker retention. Then, the presenter summarizes key findings from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians’ needs assessment that identified onboarding as an opportunity to strengthen their child welfare workforce.
