Oklahoma : Competency-Based Employee Selection Process

This brief presentation summarizes how competencies, or the characteristics of successful employees, can inform a child welfare agency’s hiring process. The presenter describes the process for developing a competency-based employee selection intervention and explains why Oklahoma decided to implement and test this strategy to strengthen its child welfare agency.
